MARKHAM, ON (January 17, 2023) – Yashaswy (Yash) Gollamudi has joined GEI Canada as a Water Resources Engineer. Yash brings experience on a variety of projects including sub-watershed studies, master environmental servicing plans (MESP’s), Green Infrastructure design, site plan and subdivision design.

“Yash’s major strength is that she can complete a comprehensive analysis on-site engineering servicing, including water, sanitary and stormwater management, and achieve optimized solutions for stormwater management design,” says Chaodong Sheng, Senior Water Resources Engineer with GEI Canada. “Her knowledge and experiences will help us on the large scale of land development projects, such as block plans and MESPs.”

“I have had the opportunity to work on private large-scale development projects with various landowner groups from a project’s inception to the final detailed design stage,” says Yash. “I have also worked on Class Environmental Assessments (EA) for municipal infrastructure such as city roads. These experiences have given me a solid outlook on the unique scope of each project and the level of work required for each design stage. I look forward to continuing to learn and grow, utilizing my knowledge and skills in the multidisciplinary setting at GEI.”

Yash earned her B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Alberta in Edmonton. She is a Professional Engineer and LEED Green Associate.
