Industry leader brings large-scale project experience.
MARKHAM, Ontario, Canada, Nov. 25, 2024 – Jesus Morelos has joined GEI Consultants as Senior Instrumentation Manager. Jesus brings more than 17 years of experience on large-scale geostructural instrumentation and monitoring programs.
“We are excited to welcome Jesus to the team where he’ll use his extensive knowledge of the Instrumentation & Monitoring (I&M) industry to collaborate with our internal teams and key client partners,” says Chris Metaxas, Vice President and Geostructural Practice Lead at GEI. “His leadership and extensive experience will anchor GEI’s growth within the Canadian Instrumentation industry, including leading the I&M program for the Don Valley Crossing project, which forms part of the new 16km Ontario Subway Line project in Toronto.”
Jesus has led numerous large-scale projects globally, supporting clients during the bidding, design, and implementation of instrumentation systems. He leverages advanced IT technologies and sustainable practices to enhance designs, resources, and decision-making processes.

Jesus holds a Master of Science in Construction Management from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from UTEL in Mexico and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the National Polytechnic Institute of Mexico.
